We need more manpower for our “Marginal GreenField Project” at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd..Below are the list of vacancies to be filled :

Project Director:

The Project Director will be responsible for reporting the status if the project within the ROC Corporate Management. Further, if the PCSB cannot resolve any issues with the Project Manager they should raise with the Project Director.

Project Manager:
The Project Manager will have the overall responsibility for the timely and efficient execution of the project and its handover to PCSB. He will work closely with PCSB and with in-house and other external parties and will report to the PCSB and ROC management on a regular basis. The Project Manager reports to the Project Director

Engineering Manager:

The Engineering Manager will lead and co-ordinate the hydrodynamics, naval architecture, conversion engineering and other engineering disciplines. Further, with the assistance of the Interface Engineer, he will specify and co-ordinate the engineering activities with external parties including the Production modules contractors, PCSB and the Classification Society.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of the basic and detail design of the project. He will ensure that the design is fully integrated into the overall project facilities to provide a completely optimized, safe, reliable and cost-effective system. He will ensure project engineering deliverables are achieved within the project schedule and reports to the Project Manager.
He will control:

• Engineering deliverables
• Management of the design interface with Company
• Design change control and approval
• Management of engineering support for fabrication activities

Procurement Manager:

The Procurement Manager will manage the compliance of subcontractors in their execution of the subcontracts awarded for the project. He will front any correspondence with the subcontractors and distribute internally to the members of the project team the queries sought by the subcontractors. The Procurement Manager will manage the contract negotiations and subsequent administration of the subcontracts. He reports to the Project Manager.

Construction Manager:

The Construction Manager will be responsible as the PMT representative for the Fabrication, Repair & Life Extension, Conversion & Construction, Integration of production equipment, Installation and Mechanical Completion (ready for commissioning). He will be the main contact person supervising the shipyards construction activities on behalf of the project, including progress measurement and reporting. He will report to the Project Manager.

HU&C Manager:

The Hook-up & Commissioning Manager reports to the Project Manager. In particular he will be responsible for:
• Offshore Hook-up preparation;
• Offshore Hook-up execution;
• Commissioning preparation;
• Commissioning execution;
• Documentation and handover to operation.
He will be the primary contact person supervising the hook-up and commissioning activities on behalf of the project, including progress measurement and reporting.

QA/QC Manager:

The Project QA Manager will prepare and implement the project Quality Plan. In particular he will be responsible for:
• Coordination of project QA interfaces between Roc PMT and PCSB and between Roc PMT, its key contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review and approval of quality related documents submitted by sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Perform site visits and QA audits in accordance with the approved audit schedule.
• Control and monitoring of all follow-up actions resulting from the audits.
• Advising the Project Manager of the status of QA activities.
• Co-ordination of the inspection team responsible for monitor, witness and hold points on procured and fabricated equipment.

Project Control Manager:

The Project Control Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budget, cost and document control for the project. He will implement the planning procedures, monitor and analyze the progress, and with input from the sites, will report regularly on the project to the Project Manager and other parties. The project progress will be reported team and other external parties as required by the contract.

HSE Manager:

The Project HSE Manager will prepare and implement the project HSE Plan. In particular he will be responsible for:
• Co-ordinate of project HSE interfaces between Roc PMT and PCSB and between Roc PMT, its key contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review and approval of safety related documents submitted by sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Perform site visits and HSE audits in accordance with the approved audit schedule.
• Control and monitoring of all follow-up actions resulting from the audits.
• Advising the Project Manager of the status of HSE activities.
• Maintaining a functional reporting route to the ROC corporate HSE group manager

Interface Manager:

The Interface Manager will be responsible for managing the resolution of identified interfaces between the Key Contractors and their sub-contractors. He will be responsible for maintaining the interface management procedure and co-ordinate those activities within its complete control and those activities which interface and/or impinge within the project.

Senior Project Engineers:

The Senior Project Engineers will be responsible as the PMT representative for the Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation and Mechanical Completion (ready for commissioning) of each of the Key Contractors work scopes. He will be the primary contact person supervising the activities on behalf of the project, including facilitating approvals, technical resolution, progress measurement and reporting. He will report to the Construction Manager. He will have a functional reporting line to the Engineering Manager for the engineering scope.

Lead Scheduler:

The Lead Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining the Primavera 6.2 project schedule up to date and periodically issuing the schedule to the Project Manager and PCSB. He will be responsible for obtaining the current status data from the Key Contractors and their sub-contractors. The Lead Scheduler will report to the Project Control Manager.

Document Controller:

The Document Controller will be responsible for maintaining the document control system, including the receipt and acknowledgement of incoming documents, co-ordination and transmittal of outgoing documents and maintenance of the document control management system.

1. One (1) Construction Engineer

10 years of maint, engineering, project & construction work in mechanical and civil work in oil and gas upstream or downstream.BSc in Mech or Civil, Good knowledge in lifting, Hazard in construction. Scope: Work supervision of project work, piping replacement for Shell during Shell TA from May 2011- July 2011. Report to TA Manager.

2. Two (2) Mechanical Site Supervisors

5-10 years of TA work in oil and gas upstream or downstream. Scope:Work supervision of maintenance of equipment, heat exchanger etc for Shell. Report to TA Manager

3. One (1) Safety Engineer

10 years of safety related work during maintenance and construction of plant in oil and gas upstream or down stream.Degree in any discipline with DOSH cert as Safety Officer. Scope :Work safety enforcement and compliance to Shell Life Saving Rule by contractors and workers. Report to TA Manager

FYI, SRC will embark on its major TA consist of routine TA works and two Major Projects defined as ATLAS and GREEN Projects. These two major projects are really critical activities during TA and hence a lot focus and efforts are extremely required to deliver the projects as per planned. Due to these requirements, SRC has requested SSS (our associate) to propose TA Management Services to support them to manage the TA, focusing on routine TA works.

Due to that, Shell are requesting SSS to supply:

1) One TA Lead Consultant
2) One TA Safety Lead
3) One TA Quality Control Lead

PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT

SRC TA period will start 9th May. It is estimated that the period would be calendar 65 days. Involvement to start April with various phases of work planning, initial meeting and familiarization.

Following are the positions + minimum qualifications required :

(1) Project Manager

B.Sc. in Mechanical or Chemical Eng., Registered Professional Engineer with BEM or recognized International Institution, minimum 12 years practical working experience in engineering design and / or construction in the oil and gas industry, including minimum 3 years in managerial function,preferably in managing a design office and familiar with DEP/PTS.

(2) Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer

B.Sc. in Mechanical Eng., Registered with BEM or recognized International Institution, with at least 8 years practical working experience in engineering design in the oil and gas industry, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS.

(3) Mechanical Designer/Checker

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 8 years relevant design/drafting experience in oil and gas industry and in designer position for the last 3 years minimum, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

(4) Senior Mechanical Draftsman

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification in the correct discipline with at least 5 years relevant design/drafting experience in oil and gas industry, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

(5) Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

B.Sc. in Civil or Structural Eng., Registered with BEM or recognized International Institution, with at least 8 years practical working experience in engineering design in oil & gas industry, preferably familiar with the following:

i. DEP/PTS
ii. British Standard/Eurocode
iii. Use of Staad-Pro
iv. Basic CAD drafting knowledge

The personnel shall be able to carry out analysis and design of the following:

v. Steel Structures
vi. Concrete Structures
vii. Foundations

(6) Senior Civil/Structural Draftsman

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification in the correct discipline with at least 5 years relevant design/drafting experience in oil and gas industry, preferably familiar with British Standard, Eurocode, and DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

(7) Civil/Structural Draftsman

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification in the correct discipline with at least 3 years relevant design/drafting experience, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

(8) Senior Electrical Engineer

B.Sc. in Electrical Eng., Registered Professional Engineer with BEM or recognized International Institution, with at least 8 years practical working experience in engineering design in oil & gas industry, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS.

(9) Electrical Designer

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in the correct discipline with at least 8 years relevant design/drafting experience and in designer position for the last 3 years minimum preferably familiar with DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

(10) Senior Instrument/System Engineer

B.Sc. in Instrument Eng., or equivalent, Registered with BEM or recognized International Institution, with at least 8 years practical working experience in engineering design in the oil and gas industry, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS.
The personnel shall possess knowledge to read, understand and provide design in the following areas:

i. Instrument installation details
ii. Loop/signal drawings
iii. PEFS
iv. Underground cable installations
v. Logic design
vi. Segregation between E & I
vii. Design according to DEP/PTS/Local Authority requirements
viii. Area classifications
ix. Write Basis Of Design
x. Keep up to date with current technology in the market
xi. Familiar with Flow/Orifice/Control valve calculations

(11) Senior Instrument Draftsman

Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Instrument Engineering or equivalent qualification in the correct discipline with at least 5 years relevant design/drafting experience in oil and gas industry, preferably familiar with DEP/PTS. The personnel shall be able to utilize Computer Aided Design Tool.

Candidate shall possess knowledge to read, understand and draw in the following areas:

i. Instrument installation details
ii. Loop/signal drawings
iii. PEFS
iv. Underground cable installations
v. Logic design
vi. Able to perform simple Flow/Orifice/Control valve calculations
vii. Proactive to carry out site survey on his own to verify spare terminal blocks

(12) Planning/QA Documentation Engineer

B.Sc. Degree or equivalent with 5 years experience in costing, project control and related work experience in engineering design and in onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. Has experience on using MS Project for his works in his employment for at least two years. The personnel shall possess knowledge and skill on:

i. Planning basics & fundamentals
ii. Resource Loading and management
iii. Physical Progress Chart generation
iv. Scheduled and Actual Progress monitoring
v. Progress difference in duration and percentage
vi. Reports
vii. Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
